Mindful Self Compassion


BCALM is proud to partner with Lisa Baylis M.Ed to offer 

Mindful Self Compassion Short-Course!  

Self compassion entails being warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate.  Mindful Self Compassion is an evidence based course, developed by Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, that invites participants to cultivate these qualities of self care through discussion, connection and experiential practices. This 6 week e-course will be offered virtually over Zoom on Tuesdays from September 13 to October 18  2022 between 0930-1030.

The private-pay registration fee is $185 and this offering is open to anyone aged 18+ with an interest in learning these invaluable skills.

For those who have taken our Art of Living Mindfully (ALM) class or Community Art of Living Mindfully (CALM), or any other mindful classes, this continuing education Mindful Self-Compassion course offers a beautiful compliment to what has already been learned.  However, no formal meditation experience is necessary to register and learn to embody the transformative benefits of these practices.
