Mindful Self Compassion

BCALM is proud to partner with Lisa Baylis M.Ed to offer our first

Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) short course!

Self compassion entails being warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate.  Mindful Self Compassion is an evidence based course, developed by Kirsten Neff and Christopher Germer, that invites participants to cultivate these qualities of self care through discussion, connection and experiential practices. More details available here.

The 6 week e-course will be offered on Thursdays between May 6-June 10th, 2021, from 7:30-8:30pm over Zoom. The registration fee is $175 and this offering is open to anyone aged 18+ with an interest in learning these invaluable skills. For those who have taken our Art of Living Mindfully (ALM) course or Community Art of Living Mindfully (CALM), Mindful Self Compassion offers a beautiful compliment to what has already been learned.  However, no formal meditation experience is necessary to embody the transformative benefits of these practices.

We anticipate this offering to be very popular and to fill quickly so if you, or someone you know, is interested in participating in this inaugural offering at BCALM, please register now to secure your space!

CANCELLATION: 72 hours required or full fee retained.
