Mindful Self Compassion

BCALM is proud to partner with Lisa Baylis M.Ed to offer the full

Mindful Self Compassion!

Self compassion entails being warm and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail, or feel inadequate.  Mindful Self Compassion is an evidence based course, developed by Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, that invites participants to cultivate these qualities of self care through discussion, connection and experiential practices. More details available here.

This 8 week e-course will be offered virtually over Zoom from January 11-March 1 2022 between 1800-2030 PLUS a 4 hour retreat on Saturday February 12 2022 from 0900-1300 (totaling 24 hours instruction).

The registration fee is $395 and this offering is open to anyone aged 18+ with an interest in learning these invaluable skills.

Participants will need to purchase the “Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook” by Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer (approx $30).

For those who have taken our Mindful Self-Compassion Short Course (MSC-SC), Art of Living Mindfully (ALM) class or Community Art of Living Mindfully (CALM), this full Mindful Self-Compassion course offers a beautiful compliment to what has already been learned.  However, no formal meditation experience is necessary to register and learn to embody the transformative benefits of these practices.

We anticipate this offering to be as popular as the first 2 MSC-SC offerings in 2021 and to fill just as quickly, so if you or someone you know, is interested in participating in this offering at BCALM, please register here.
